Vintage Conditions
The majority of the fruit for this wine was sourced from premium vineyards within South Australia. The continental climate ensured a hot growing season resulting in long sunny days and noticeably cooler night. The combination of these conditions allowed this vintage to develop into one of the region’s greatest vintages of the past decade, delivering wine of intense fruit depth and beautiful natural acidity.

Winemaking
Bath 16SHI#03XI was crushed and de-stemmed where a portion of the wine was transferred onto oak in temperature-controlled environments to maximise fruit flavour and retention. A selected yeast strain L2226/BDX was also added during this process. Post fermentation, the majority of the wine is matured in stainless steel tanks with a percentage of the wine transferred onto French Oak for further maturation. The wine is then carefully blended, stabilised and clarified resulting in an approachable and smooth Shiraz.

Tasting Notes
A classic fruit driven Shiraz bursting with aromas of dark fruits and spice with background notes of charred French oak. This is a full-bodied wine showcasing rich and juicy dark fruits of plum and cherry balanced with soft tannins and oak, providing a long-lasting finish.
