This is a big, full bodied, full on style of premium McLaren Vale Shiraz with heaps of rich fruit and a lick of spice. Using select parcels of fruit from Shingleback’s wicked Davey Estate vineyard, then aged 15 months in American oak, they then assess individual barrels to select the best of the best for the final blend. It’s a wine that’ll stand the test of time – up until 2034.
If you want heft then you've come to the right place. This lays it on and does so in excellent style. It's svelte and rugged at once; it's a mouthful. Tannin comes in from a long run and rumbles through the finish.
