The Maude Mohawk Hill Pinot Noir 2021 is a full-bodied wine and without a doubt the largest and most luscious of the 4 single vineyard Pinot Noirs, ripe cherry and plum aromas - rich, round and cuddly, a definite crowd favourite. This relatively tight and structured pinot has been built for the long haul with plenty of acid and quite bold tannins.
It's a complex and undulating wine with generous tannic fortitude, but this is still gentle and voluminous. It's a super wine, really lovely.
Colour: Deep Ruby
Aroma: Ripe cherry and plum aromas, with hints of spice and oak
Palate: Rich and round, with soft tannins and a long, smooth finish.
Food Pairing: It's a versatile wine that complements both lighter fare like salmon and richer dishes like duck or lamb.
