Fragrant aromatics of raspberry and strawberry are embellished by subtle florals and spicy notes, the ripe, fruity flavours on the off-dry palate given a boost by a smartly fresh finish. The lovely pink colour comes from the short time the Merlot fruit spends with its skins.
Merlot grapes were harvested in the early morning to retain lower night temperatures in the fruit, pressed out with a minimal amount of time on skins means the colour is a gentle salmon blush. Specific Rose yeasts were selected to produce a fragrant, floral wine with crisp acidity and subtle sweetness.
